The Lake District is a mountaineous region in North West England. It is famous for its mountains and lakes and its association with well-known romantic poets such as Wordsworth or the Lake Poets. The picture above is one of Keswick, one of the most visited of these lakes. The picture below is one of Striding Edge, a mountain on which it is quite impressive to hike.
As you can see on the following picture, the Lake District is one of the most beautiful regions in England and it attracts thousands of tourists every year.
