Let's promote a must-see in the USA

Target :

To CREATE a TOURIST LEAFLET or a POSTER to PROMOTE a FAMOUS AMERICAN LOCATION

 

Your task: Imagine you got hired by a travel agency in the US. Your mission is to create a tourist leaflet or a poster to promote the location you want to defend.

You will be working in pairs. Remember what we've studied in class so far (categories of information to be found in a tourist leaflet or a poster such as: map of the destination/ a few historical and geographical facts/ accomodations/things to do/ tours/ prices, or how to express your enthusiasm) and don't forget that your leaflet or poster has to be clear and attractive: yor goal is to make people think "wow, it's gonna be awesome!"

1) The first step is to complete the pieces of information you have gathered so far on the particular location you are working on. Go and check websites about this place.

2) The second step is to set up the layout and the "look" of your leaflet or poster!

OPEN OFFICE (impress). [ajoutez du texte, un titre, des photos, adaptez la présentation à ce que vous avez choisi, poster ou brochure]

Remember, it has to look nice and attractive! Pictures can be found on the net (google images).

Insérer texte et images

 

3) Save your file!

  Sauvegarder

  Nommez le document (leafletNOM) 

  Envoyez sur votre messagerie électronique si vous voulez terminer pour le prochain cours ou enregistrez le document sur clé usb.

    Oui, bien sûr ! Je vous apporterai demain des exemples de celles faites par mes élèves l'an passé. Il faut faire une brochure touristique, comme celles que vous avez vues aujourd'hui ! A demain !

    Bonsoir, Maureen. Il faut respecter les consignes (voir papier) et ne créer qu'une brochure. Le but est donc de récolter toutes les informations que tu trouves, et de SELECTIONNER les plus intéressantes, les plus utiles, et penser à rendre la brochure attractive pour le touriste. Donc deux diapos, et c'est tout ! Joue sur la disposition, la mise en page, et limite les textes, il s'agit de phrases courtes, et non de textes longs qu'on trouve sur internet ! See you !
