Arkansas

In Arkansas, we went to Little Rock. There, we visited the Central high school and I didn't understand everything. Nine black students wanted to be in a white school but the governor did not allow these students in the school.

Then, we tasted the water of Hot Spring. Hot spring is a spring which goes down under the ground and when it goes up, the water is hot (between 60°C and 70°C).

Then, we dug to find quartz in a cristal mine in a town called Mount Ida but in the rain!!!!We were extremely dirty. We found a lot of quartz and we brought back 3 Kg of quartz in the motorhome.

On the border of Arkansas, we visited Fort Smith. In the Fort, Isaac Parker was the judge. Do you know why Judge Isaac Parker was famous in the nineteenth century ?
