In Oklahoma, we drove on the route 66, the legendary route in the U.S.A and we visited 2 museums. One was about the pioneers, people who used this road to move towards the West Coast and the other one was about the cars on the route 66.
Then, we went to Oklahoma city, the capital of Oklahoma. We saw the memorial about the Oklahoma bomb attack in 1995.
In Oklahoma city, during the day, the temperature was 28°C and at night, when we arrived at the boundary of Oklahoma and Texas, the temperature fell to -7°C. All night, we had a very big thunderstorm above our head. In the morning, when we saw the motor-home, it was covered with ice and stalactites, we were very cold!!! It was the coldest night of our trip.
Oklahoma is a state where there are lots of tornadoes.
Do you know which states in the U.S.A are in the tornado alley?
